I am a watercolor painter and arts educator based in Pittsburgh, PA.  I like to work in a traditional impressionist manner, sketching plants in their natural habitat and painting from observation of live specimens. 

As an art educator, I teach classes to children and adults with a focus on observational drawing and painting.  I like to host class outdoors, with lessons ranging from environmental art, nature sketching, and plein air painting.  My goal is to share my love for art and nature through the work I make and the classes I teach.
