Yu-Pein Lin (Bash), Goan Ho Crochet

Bash is a dedicated fiber artist who creates handmade crocheted pieces inspired by nature and animals. Her collection includes intricate shell bags, adorable cat plushies, and charming cactus decorations, each crafted with care and creativity. What sets her work apart is her commitment to using animal-free materials, offering ethical and sustainable alternatives without compromising on quality or beauty. With customizable options and a thoughtfully curated palette of soft, soothing colors, she ensures that every piece feels personal and inviting for all ages.

Her journey with crochet began in childhood, taught by her mother and nurtured over the years into a meaningful form of artistic expression. For her, crocheting is more than a craft—it is a meditative process that brings comfort and fulfillment. Each stitch carries intention, resulting in high-quality, handcrafted creations that blend function with artistry. Inspired by the natural world, she designs her pieces to evoke warmth, serenity, and a deep sense of belonging.

At the heart of her work is the Taiwanese concept of Goan Ho—a belief in recognizing and valuing one’s unique strengths. Through her crochet art, she hopes to remind people of their own worth and the importance of embracing their place in the world. Each creation is a small yet meaningful reflection of this philosophy, inviting people to cherish not only handmade artistry but also their own individuality and value.
